We have open house on Thursdays from 16:00 to 20:00. But we are open on other weeksdays, for example co-work, bicycle kitchen, co-cooking and other activities going on.

It’s a physical prototype for the future

Omställningslabbet is a free and open meeting place, collaborative platform and sustainability incubator in Gothenburg.

We bring together residents, associations, organisations, businesses and the city to share knowledge, test ideas and develop practical solutions for a more sustainable city.

Our activities include co-cooking, Repair Café, Cykelköket, coworking, workshops, events and festivals. Anyone can organise activities here free of charge.

Omställningslabbet is run through an Idea-Based Public Partnership (IOP) between Kollaborativ Ekonomi Sverige and the Urban Environment Administration of the City of Gothenburg.

The adress is Södra Frihamnspiren 15, Gothenburg.

Co-cooking

Come cook, eat and connect with us!

Every other Thursdays, we cook a healthy, mostly vegan meal together using rescued, seasonal and local food whenever possible. Everyone is welcome, just bring yourself (and any food you’d like to use up!).

We aim to have co-cooking every two weeks on Thursdays roughly 16:30-19:00. Events are posted in the calendar and co-ordination is done within our WhatsApp groupchat.

Bicykle Kitchen

Learn how to repair your bike!

Our Bike Kitchen volunteers aim to keep the regular opening hours, but occasional closures may occur depending on volunteer availability. New volunteers are always welcome!

Open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 18.00-20.00.

Co-Work

The spacemaker is open for co-working!

Bring your laptop, your project or just something you need to get done and come work alongside other folx. We have some tools to share too. Work on your own things, meet other people, exchange ideas, have a coffee or see what’s happening around the Lab.
